Good fun yesterday, entertaining the Christmas shoppers in Truro and collecting for Cornwall Hospice Care.

Last night we entertained the lovely residents of the care home with songs and stories to great appreciation.

Not one of our better gigs yesterday. A huge barn like restaurant with zero acoustics not condusive to singing a capella even with amps. Still we one little lass happy singing “Happy Birthday” to yound Faith aged 11.

Last night we came first in class and were awarded the Alan Leather Associates Cup.Some lovely comments from the adjudicator. Pity not more people of St Austell supported this event as there was some lovely singing.

Yesterday we entertained a pretty packed Christmas Market held at Penrice School, Snozzle and made £32.80 towards “Eric’s” brain tumour charity.

Yesterday we helped lay to rest our old friend Eric Chenoweth.After a brief but very moving service in Veryan Church we repaired to the Sports Club for a wake celebrating Eric’s life. A lovely spread was laid on and assisted … Continue reading

We were entertaining the late night shoppers in Truro last night. Lovely evening and remarkable acoustics for singing outside, however not many people tempted out. An auspicious setting for Jed and Pete to receive their pass certs.welcome aboard chaps !

This event getting seriously popular now. The streets were absolutely crammed with visitors encouraged by the gloriously sunny weather. Terrific day out.

First singout of the year and off to a flying start ! All three new pieces got through without mishap, the audience joining in enthusiastically with “Amarillo”. Lovely spread, and some winners in the raffle, all in a good cause.
