How lucky are we ? Amongst all the appalling weather we,ve had recently, the 2 Saturdays we,ve sung in Truro have both been dry with plenty of shoppers about donating generously to Cornwall Hospice Care.

Last night we supported Cornwall Hospice Care at their Light Up a Life event at the Bowgie Inn, Crantock.

It stayed dry ! Yipeee ! A good day for entertaining Christmas shoppers in Truro who donated generously to Cornwall Hospice Care.

Luckily we picked one of the few days it hasn’t rained recently and a lovely afternoon was had. Home made tea and cakes, beautiful surroundings, good music, all in a good cause, Macmillan Nurses.

Phew, it was a scorcher, a change from last year (it rained). Brought out the visitors in their hundreds and we enjoyed singing to enthusiastic audiences.

And the sun shone ! Sandwiched between two miserable days the sun shone brightly on Lostwithiel for Lostfest 2017. The town was packed with visitors and we had a great time singing to enthusiastic audiences.

John was very appreciative as we turned up as a surprise to help celebrate his 60th birthday, held at Porthpean Golf Club. Lovely food, quality singing, a great night was had by all.

A minutes silence was observed last night before our concert, in memory of Margaret, beloved wife of one of our members, Mike Chenoweyh, who passed away recently. Otherwise a lovely evening was had entertaining a small but enthusiastic audience.

Our annual knees up was held at the Ship Inn last night. Accompanied by WAGS and friends old and new a great evening was held by all. Good food and a singsong in the bar later rounded off the evening … Continue reading

A nice letter of thanks from Cornwall Hospice Care for the £181.69 we raised by singing in Truro on two Christmas Saturdays and a donation from Abbeyfields when we sang there.
