A Cornish evening to celebrate St Piran’s Day held in St Mewans Church Hall and what a lovely evening it turned out to b
Members of the small but beautifully formed audience , in between cheering enthusistically in appreciation of our efforts,
read Cornish poetry and sang with gusto, traditional Cornish songs. Proper grub, pasties, saffron cake and clotted cream on splits at half time made it a perfect evening.
We always welcome new members. We’re currently looking for new tenors and baritones, and we’ll welcome basses and lead voices too. Six-week free singing trial for new members.
